CocoRosie are sisters Bianca "Coco" and Sierra "Rosie" Casady. These sisters were born and raised in the United States but formed the band in Paris after meeting for the first time in years. Sounds like: "freak folk", incorporates elements of pop, blues, opera, electronica, and hip hop. They give off this french, gypsie vibe. They sometimes rap and occasionally wear mustaches...Their songs are all so different so listen to a few.
GIRLS. Lena Dunham stars in, produces, writes, directs...She's spectacular.
It's like Sex in the City but in a demented sort of way. love love love.
